Botanical Artist Angeline de Meester recently added a new range of modern watercolours available to purchase as prints or greetings cards on her website. Returning to one of her favourite subjects, the Heuchera, Angeline has produced a set of 8 paintings showing the variety of species of these perennial herbaceous plants. As Angeline says:
“Inspired by my fascination for foliage, I find this group of herbaceous perennials, commonly known as Coral bells, absolutely delightful. In the last twenty to thirty years there has been an explosion in the cultivation of these plants resulting in the availability of a wonderful assortment of coloured foliage.”
